PD - Physiotherapy Department

Physiotherapy refers to a process of treatment of diseases, injuries, deformities etc. through physical methods including massage, heat treatment and remedial therapeutic exercises. Physiotherapy department in HRDC plays an important role in the rehabilitation of patient with physical and neurological disabilities.

Physiotherapy Department Aims:
To increase the muscular strength.
To increase the mobility and flexibility of joints.
To increase endurance.
To promote relaxation.
To promote the coordination and skill amongst the staff members.
To educate the patients and their caretakers.
To transfer skill and knowledge to the others.

Objectives:
To provide quality service and occupational therapy to the patients with physical disability.
To design, fabricate and provide the assistive devices.
To transfer skill and knowledge to the HRDC staffs and other organizations.
